Home boarding is a warm and welcome alternative to kennels for dogs when you need to be away from home without them. We've found that more and more people prefer the idea of their pet being looked after in a home environment with all the associated comforts, and, most importantly, constant human contact, as opposed to kennelling with no home familiarity.

We know how precious your pet is to you, and how difficult and worrying it can be to leave them when you have to go away for any length of time. We take that worry away, leaving you happy and relaxed knowing that your dog is being loved and cared for in our family home, along with our own 2 dogs, Maggie and Gracie.

Our aim is to make sure that your dog has a happy, fun time so we'll ensure that he or she will be treated as an individual within the group. We will tailor walks and activities to suit your dog's needs, which may be energetic walks, or a leisurely stroll for our older guests. After walks* and playtime, your dog can lounge around on our sofas, or wherever they feel happiest. Sleeping arrangements will be discussed with you, and we will do everything we can to meet your specific needs.

Our walks will be along the beach or woodland and all dogs are kept on the lead at all times, unless you request otherwise. And when they are not out walking, they can play or relax in our large garden, which your dog will have access to at all times.

We can even post updates for you on Facebook, so you can be happy in the knowledge that your dog will be having their own happy holibobs!

Rest assured our first priority is to keep all our guests happy and healthy so we do ask that to ensure the well-being of all the animals staying with us, that your dog is up-to-date with vaccinations and flea treatments (please bring cards as proof). We can, in turn, of course, provide you with proof of our own dogs' vaccinations if required.

We will ask you to provide all the food that will be needed for your dog's visit, along with their lead, bed or blanket, and anything else that you think they will need to make them feel even more 'at home'. Whilst they're in our care, we will be happy to administer any medication that your dog may require during their holibobs.

*While we endeavour to provide a walk for all our guests as mentioned, this is not set in stone, a dog walked in driving gale force wind and torrential rain is not a happy holibob dog!

Sorry, but we are unable to take any un-neutured dogs or bitches that are in season, or about to come into season.
